Thank you for choosing Edgewood Commons! We appreciate your interest in living with us and look forward to having you as a future resident. The information below describes each piece of your application packet. Please read it carefully and feel free to contact us if you have any questions. All paperwork is located on the Application/Forms page. 

A completed application packet will include the following: Rental Application, Roommate Matching Form, 2010-11 Contract, Parental Guaranty of Contract, $30 application fee, and $200 administrative fee. 

Rental Application - This form provides contact information for us to use throughout the process and your time at Edgewood Commons. Fill this out completely, then sign and date at the bottom.

Roommate Matching Form - This form allows you to provide information about you and your preferences for the purpose of matching roommates.

Contract - The 2010-2011 Housing Contract is now available.

Parental Guaranty of Contract - This establishes a guarantor for your contract - someone (usually a parent or guardian) who agrees to be responsible if you are ever unable to fulfill the obligations of your contract. It's similar to having a co-signer.

The Guaranty must be signed in front of a notary, who will then complete the form and apply the notary public stamp or seal to validate it. All residents are required to have a guarantor and will not be allowed to sign a contract without one.
 
Application Fee - Attach a check or money order payable to Edgewood Commons for $30.00. This application fee is non-refundable.

Administrative Fee - An administrative fee of $200 is required to accompany your signed contract. The administrative fee is non-refundable.

Mixed Gender Apartment Agreement - Students with sophomore standing or above can now mix genders within their apartment. You must sign up with 3 other FSU students. As a group, fill out this form along with a Guaranty Application for Mixed Gender Apartment and submit with your Rental Application.

Parental Guaranty of Contract (for mixed gender apartments) - This is the same as the above guaranty application with the added agreement that the guarantor is aware that their student is choosing to reside in a mixed gender apartment.

Cost Comparison Sheet- This is a cost and amenity comparison with the traditional FSU Residence Halls.  The prices shown are the combined cost of your meal plan and housing for each semster.  We provide this for you so you can make the best informed finacial decision. 
 
Code of Student Conduct - This document is produced by Edgewood Commons Apartments, referencing the Frostburg State University Code of Student Conduct, in conjunction with Capstone Management. All residents of Edgewood Commons Apartments are also responsible for the full FSU Code of Student Conduct which can be found in the Pathfinder Student Handbook.
 
Financial Aid Transfer Form - If you wish to use Financial Aid to pay all or part of your contract fees, please complete this form and return to Edgewood prior to July 1, 2010.

 Activity Fee - all residents will pay an activity fee of $25 per semester to Edgewood Commons, this amount should be included with your August and January payment.
